These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

It’s All About Fly Fishing

  • Make it.

As someone who loves to spend a lot of time on the water, I've realized the importance of having the perfect fishing rod. That’s why I started building my own. As a matter of fact, I’ve made more than a few for friends. Having a custom rod can really improve ones fishing experience.

Every once in a while, I find time to build a rod for the avid fisherman looking for that special rod. If you’re interested, contact me. I’ll let you know if I can make it happen for you.

  • Fix it.

I’ve been fishing for as long as I can remember and fished as often as I could……I haven’t stopped yet. You can imagine that I have had to fix many rods over the years. Not only do I enjoy doing it, I find that it actually saves a good amount of money and helps reduce waste. And, as with most fishermen, I have some cherished rods that hold sentimental value. By repairing my rod, and for that matter, many of my buddies, I can help maintain those precious memories!

If you need a repair, contact me. If I can find time in my schedule, I will fix it for you.

  • Tie it.

I have a deep passion for tying my own flies for fishing. Not only does it save money over time, but it also allows for greater creativity in designing unique patterns. There's something incredibly rewarding about catching fish with flies you've made yourself – it truly enhances the fishing experience and provides a sense of accomplishment.

Tying my own flies has been very helpful in allowing me to adapt to my local fishing conditions. Over the years, I've made and even patented many types of flies. I also attend shows twice a year to display, teach, and sell my flies. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow fishing enthusiasts and share my knowledge.

Fly tying has become a relaxing and enjoyable hobby for me, and I believe it can be the same for others. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a go! Click here to learn more.
